Alfonso Hernandez was convicted of animal cruelty and sentenced to the maximum of 2 years in state jail plus a $1,000 fine. Michael John Edmonds pleaded guilty, testified against Hernandez, and received 5 years probation plus a $1,000 fine. (Two other men were reportedly involved but not charged/convicted on this.)
