@AimlessThund3r @RossKroft96 @RenanCroft @AspyrMedia Nooooo, that's not true. It's like 80-90% my own work and Allesandro's work but indeed complemented with all the essential mods by other modders (and often further improved by me as well). They are the big cherry on top so to speak 👍🏻

Tell me they aren't gaslighting Tomb Raider fans. @CrystalDynamics - is this the official sentiment coming from both yourselves as custodians of the @tombraider franchise and Aspyr? Because if so, good luck selling (probably delayed) Legacy of Atlantis to core fans.

It's shameful to tell fans to report bugs caused by a patch you evidently didn't even test try. Also if you had bothered even a little to actually look through the uproar of the TR fandom you would've found a hefty compiled lists of every possible bug caused by the latest patch.

@JadenOfAtlantis Oh yes exactly. Which is why in my post towards them I mentioned EVERY SINGLE fucking bug needs to be fixed FULLY. Otherwise you can keep it. It's concerning how they're even talking about multiple patches... Don't even DARE to release a patch before having fixed EVERYTHING

Happy Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary everyone! No doubt they'll fix *enough* bugs that when future fans complain of some left-over issues from patch 5, other fans will tell them to stop complaining and we should "still feel lucky"!

@TRJTA @CoreDesign_com it's actually wild, Saber offering to do exactly what they know fans wanted & expected, Aspyr saying no & then hiring a completely different team & paying them to do someone none of the fans asked for.. & furthermore doing it poorly. What a terrible, stupid company..

Instead of renewing a contract with Saber - who already knew the game inside out - the publisher chose to move the project to a new team, Magic Media. A studio mostly known for support and co-development work, now handling a project like this. What’s even more surprising is that many of the recent bugs appeared alongside the new Challenge Mode - which, ironically, seems to work fine on its own. It raises the question: wouldn’t it have made more sense to release it as a standalone expansion, avoiding changes to the base game altogether? Especially when the remaining issues seem relatively contained - from reworking outfit textures, to fixing typos (“Challanges” in English, a leftover “TBC” in French), or polishing elements like the new key art.

@JadenOfAtlantis Well the weird part is that they have already been reported all over the place and they task us with reporting it in their specific place. I mean: just do some digging and searching yourself. Its not hard to find all the bug reports. That annoys me as well.

It's insulting to task US with reporting the bugs YOU caused in the first place. We are the buyers and should be able to play a functioning product we purchased TWO YEARS AGO that worked great after patch 4. Now we have to both wait AND restart with bug reports? Just wow.

@TRJTA If they ever fix it or rollback, could you add the true peruvian texture to the gold edition? I tried to add it but I got black squares

@tombraiderdeaaz @AspyrMedia @tombraider I honestly think this update version is beyond repair. They totally messed up the code all over these games. If they want to properly fix this they would have to start over again with the challenge mode but done by a competent developer.

@SynnFusion Like you said, I *realllly* hope Crystal higher-ups have caught wind of our extreme backlash and are scolding Aspyr for doing this and are thinking about how to ensure this never happens again. But it might just be me hoping 🥲

@Athos_TRLE Oh believe me I will. But I don't believe for a second that they will. In the most positive but realistic scenario they will improve the ugly outfits to be less pixelated + half assed try to fix the issues and end up fixing barely half while introducing yet other new glitches
