@theliamnissan See, this is where you are wrong. Stupidity is the reason we got here, it is self inflicted, and it needs to be shamed away.
We have record levels of illiteracy and mental illness, not to mention side effects from decades of poisoning ourselves with herbicides and insecticides.

I expect Trump to do something very stupid in the next day or so.

The French developed a REAL easy solution in 1792 for this exact problem. No need to reinvent the gui... I mean wheel. 🤔

it’s crazy that 95% of people just want a nice normal life on our beautiful, already abundant planet where they can have their basic needs met and cute experiences with their loved ones and then we have these 5% of evil, narcissistic goons at the top fucking it up for all of us

@patriot_savvy @POTUS If God had any mercy for us, he would have sent a blood clot to Trump's demented, defective brain years ago.
English

Heavenly Father,
We lift up Donald Trump @POTUS to You tonight. In a time of rising tension and uncertainty, we ask that You surround him with Your wisdom, strength, and protection. Guide his decisions with clarity and courage, and place a steady hand over every move he makes.
Lord, shield him from harm, calm every storm forming in the shadows, and expose anything meant for evil before it can take root. Grant him discernment beyond human understanding and the boldness to stand firm in truth.
We pray for peace where there is conflict, strategy where there is chaos, and Your divine favor over our nation. Stand guard over our leaders, our troops, and every innocent life impacted by this moment.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Breaking: The President's son is on a heater
Donald Trump Jr's fund invested in one of the only U.S. rare earth magnet startups at a $200M valuation
Three months later, the Pentagon awarded Vulcan a $620M loan and the Commerce Dept took a $50M equity stake
In February, Trump announced a $12B rare earth strategic reserve
Today, the company is now valued at $2 billion. That's a 10x for Trump Jr in under a year
Vulcan is building the largest rare earth magnet factory outside of China. The U.S. says it needs to stop relying on China, which controls 90% of global rare earth processing
The timing is either the greatest coincidence in investing history, or it isn't

@ronrule @JustonBrazda What an absurd figure. They employ over 2 million people. If all of them made minimum wage, that would be $14 million a year, which, even at half that, is more than anyone should be getting paid regardless for signing emails and sitting in board meetings.
English

Walmart employs millions of unskilled workers. Those workers collectively make many times what the CEO makes. If the CEO made $0, each worker would make less than one dollar more per YEAR.
What would those people be doing if Walmart didn’t exist? Where would people who can barely afford groceries shop if Walmart wasn’t using their buying power to negotiate low prices?
Doing that takes smart people and smart appropriation of capital, and those people SHOULD be handsomely rewarded for it.
