After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to step down from the @SeaOfThieves Partner Program. I love Sea of Thieves and I’ll always be thankful for the opportunities, friendships, and memories that came from it. But seeing the recent news surrounding someone who was elevated and promoted by members of the CM team has honestly been disgusting. Especially hearing that some people may have known about certain behavior and it was still pushed forward anyway. As a Christian, I have to stand on what I believe is right. Between this and years of harassment that creators have dealt with while little was done about it, I just can’t continue representing the program in good faith anymore. This wasn’t an easy decision because I truly love this game and the community we built around it. But I feel like it’s the right decision for me, my family, and my community moving forward. Thank you to everyone who supported me through all of it.

@LordofCh8os I mean I definitely believe they should’ve offered more ways to PvE the event. That being said my doubloons were reset to 220, I did all the challenges and PvE. Probably got about 7 legit steals and the rest were manipulating players or offering loot. I got everything and capped.

It is stupid, because it’s not true. The weekender is monthly, the stock will remain for at least one year. You don’t NEED 500 Reaper Chest. Weekenders give you plenty of doubloons over time. As a partner, you should read the release notes before offering “critiques”

@ToxieSinclaire Yeah we had to do the same thing, got everything and my doubloons capped out though and even helped some friends with theirs. It was a wild weekend.

needs some work gng. the biggest problem comes from the fact that the best way to get doubloons is capped to 3 voyages, insentivising stealing. only for it to be near impossible to find anyone doing the voyage. I started taking pirates hostage and forcing them to do the voyage.

@Wermux @Wermux although to be fair some of my steals were from trading loot with new players and manipulating players who were unaware of the event. But where there’s a will there’s a way.

@Wermux I got reset had 220 doubloons to start, had all the previous items, did all the event challenges, and PvE voyages and swapped over to steals. I got both new items and capped out my doubloons over the weekend although it was a sweaty grind.

If you play legit you can't even buy a new item after doing everything. People that got all either didn't get reset or cheesed the doubloons. Absolute terrible and boring FOMO designed event. Increase duration to 7 days, drop limit of voyages.

@R_SotLeaks I was reset to 220 and rare thief was saying 425 for the season pass doubloons so I’m kind of pissed about that. I got the curse, working on the figurehead and then extra doubloons after that when I get out of work.

i think they forgot to reset a lot of ppl's doubloons i had more than 4000 when i logged on and was able to buy everything out lol

@Slimey_Pigeon Yeah the server stability took a huge hit yesterday. Had someone board us and thankfully I killed him before he got to anchor but we were all rubber banding like crazy.

I’ll be honest, I had some decent success last night but that’s the last time I run a gally with all randoms from LFG. Communication was awful, I was the only one who stayed on boat when we designated roles. No one touched sails. I wish my friends were on. #SeaOfThieves

Got the new curse last night! Managed to get 3 steals, finish my 3 voyages of the doubloon run, and all the weekender challenges. Still got the shipwrecks and fishing voyages to do. Plenty of steals as well. @SeaOfThieves #SeaofThieves #BeMorePirate

@SeaOfThieves Hey I’m all game for more time to catch up on my hourglass grind, however, with this experiment how do you intend for players to finish out their raid loot comms for both faction raid items and Hunters Call loot that only spawns in raids? I got these done, but others haven’t.
