It’s interesting that our only focus seems to be on what 97 will decide to do, whether that’s this summer or next or whenever. And it’s obviously because he only has a 2-year deal. But I mean, nothing is stopping Leon Draisaitl from asking out one day if that’s what he wanted. Not saying he will nor do I have any feeling he will. But just because he signed an 8-year deal doesn’t mean he will necessarily play it out all in Edmonton.

Henrik Lundqvist. Posted a 1.11 GAA and .961 SV% in Game 7’s. He deserved so much better #NYR

Name a player who deserved a ring but never got one 💍

@JBDgames @TSCognition @OhRyanMead when NYRs best players joined other teams where they were no longer the best or most relied on players, they ended up winning there. McDonagh became a 2nd pairing D, Gaborik was a secondary scoring option, Hagelin got to play behind 87/71. they were never good enough lol
English

@JBDgames @OhRyanMead Gaborik had two good seasons. Richards turned to shit after one subpar year. Every other forward would've been a third liner on a great team. We love Callahan and Stepan, but neither one ever put up 60 points.
2015 was a great year because every 3rd liner had 15 goals
English

@TSCognition @OhRyanMead Youre really gonna pretend that the 2012 team with Gaborik, Richards, Cally, Stepan, Hagelin, McDonagh, Zuc, Stralman, Girardi, etc were not talented? And 2015 was even more loaded lol
English

@JBDgames @OhRyanMead Gaborik's 76 points was 15th in the league in 2012. Nash's 69 in 2015 was 20th.
English

@JBDgames @OhRyanMead 2012, Gaborik led the team with 76 points. 2015, Nash had 69. These two performances are outliers in Lundqvist's career, which further proves that a team that could score would've won him multiple championships.

@OhRyanMead Hot take: One of the biggest myths in hockey is that Lundqvist had no help, when in reality he was on some very talented teams that just weren’t able to get over the line

Ranger fans, if Carolina offered you K’Andre Miller for Braden Schneider in a 1 for 1 on July 1st, would you take it?

@JLazzy23 You can’t convince me the Rangers wouldn’t been better if Zac Jones was LHD3 to start the year and their PP2 QB than Carson Soucy existing for $2.8M more expensive

Take away Michael Jordan's rings, he was still the best player of his era with amazing playoff efficiency.
Take away LeBron James' rings, he was still the best player of his era with amazing playoff efficiency.
Take away Wayne Gretzky's rings, he was still the best player of his era with amazing playoff efficiency.
Take away Tom Brady's rings, he becomes arguably the 5th best QB of his era with mediocre playoff efficiency & multiple cheating scandals.

@Mangledpolitics Currently at 275 bench and 475 deadlift. The deadlift number is climbing quicker than the bench for sure.

@dustinrhodes Top 50 for sure. Character work is big. Plus, you have one of the greatest quotes in wrestling history that I still use to this day:
