A new chapter is starting today. Yet for Aave, nothing will change in the short term; there's a lot of inertia, and liquidity is sticky, so there's no reason to be concerned. We had quite a few good things in the pipeline, and we will deliver them during the transition period. You already know this, I'm too hungry to retire, so it's the end of a chapter but not of the journey.

Dreamcash has received significant attention recently. With increased coverage from KOLs, headlines involving Tether, and additional marketing efforts expected from the team, it is worth looking beyond the surface and focusing on some numbers and underlying dynamics. Dreamcash is an RWA perpetuals frontend on Hyperliquid that brings metals, indices, and commodities on-chain through HIP-3. It currently ranks second behind TradeXYZ, with roughly 15% of HIP-3 market share. Currently, Dreamcash has around 2,000 unique addresses and just launched a campaign today, in contrast to other projects such as Hyena and Felix which have ongoing campaigns for a while. These developments are expected to unfold this week: 1) Webapp Launch 2) Incentive Program 3) New Markets If executed well, these steps could materially increase Dreamcash’s share, and position it to challenge for the top spot in HIP-3. It's currently annualizing $3.26M in revenue which still keeps outside the top 100 in revenue terms. It has also breached $5.2B cumulative volume till date. A less discussed aspect is the connection with Beam Foundation. Dreamcash is positioned as Beam’s trading division. Beam Foundation holds a $49 million equity stake in Dreamcash, which represents its largest single treasury position at 28%. The exact mechanics of how Dreamcash revenue flows into BEAM token burns are not fully transparent. At present, DAO profits are generally allocated toward token buybacks. Given this relationship, $BEAMX appears to be the only liquid way to gain exposure to Dreamcash and its potential to compete for the leading position in HIP-3. However, this opportunity carries clear risks. Token liquidity is limited, and competitors, like Ethena, failed to accrue gains to its token through similar initiatives. The outcome will largely depend on market share. If Dreamcash remains below 25% of HIP-3 volume, the effect on Beam’s token is likely to be limited. If it reaches or exceeds 50%, even briefly, the market would likely reassess the value of $BEAMX.

ECC Devs are migrating to a new company, not leaving the ecosystem. It's not at all accurate to say "the core devs are gone" or "no devs anymore". And ECC is only just one part of the Zcash Development Community - Shielded Labs, Zcash Foundation and Projection Tachyon are all independent and unaffected by this. I have my concerns in the short run, but in the long run I know this to be good news. Non-profit shackles coming off one of the best teams in Crypto. We'll look back on this as a demonstration of Zcash's resilience and decentralization.
