People who tell you that Bitcoin is going to completely replace gold are just straight up lying to you. There is no perceivable future where gold is just no longer seen as a precious commodity
It's been written about in HOLY BOOKS and has been used as currencies since as long as human beings created physical currency
BUTTT to say that Bitcoin can't be also seen as some sort of dollar hedge alternative digital currency is nonsense as well
Bitcoin, especially in the past five years, has no joke gone from random scam coin to national treasury inflation hedge
Even if you straight up HATE crypto and don't trust it at all, you would be a fool to not own at least a little bit of Bitcoin in your total portfolio
Holding Bitcoin from like 2024 to 2025 was like the greatest trade ever, as long as you sold at some point
After six years of crypto, 12 hours a day, the one thing I've learned and ended up with is that you only need to HOLD Bitcoin while USING other chains
If you want to send money, receive money, earn yield, etc., then use Solana or SUI or BASE, or something like that
If you just want exposure to crypto in general and want your money to grow without touching it or worrying about anything, then just buy Bitcoin
And that alone is like a good theory, enough to own alongside gold. It's definitely not one or the other!!!

People will hate this but PumpFun might be the best thing that happened to SOL 200K graduated tokens with ~40% SOL stranded in dead LPs = ~5M SOL + Ungraduated bonding curves hold ~300K SOL Combined that's 1% of SOL's cicrulating supply gone

My 2 favorite RWAs on Loopscale:
> 24.5% on PRIME (yield is backed by actual consumer home equity loans, not token emissions or speculation)
> 17.03% on ONyc (uses stablecoins as collateral to fund insurance contracts, generating returns from insurance premiums)
Both are generally uncorrelated with crypto market volatility. A great way to diversify your portfolio.
