I built a parklet in a car parking space but it was removed by the council because it wasn’t a motor vehicle. I’ve now built a parklet which is a motor vehicle and so the space for the community is back. Enjoy!

@rosemeyer1939 We're now working with others on delivering a much bigger event (with more than a shoestring budget) for Community Car Free Day 2024, using the success of that installation and the event we contributed to back in September as proof of concept. You'd be welcome to help...

@rosemeyer1939 We only wanted a month, to showcase the design in the public realm. It now in storage. The small team of volunteers need a rest. It was a massive effort to achieve even that small installation. If you come to one of our monthly Transition Cafes we'll tell you the whole story 😉/
