Times ran out for the manager, sadly. Gave me some of the best days of my life last season, but it’s really hit its end in my eyes. Tried to keep the faith as much as I could in him and his plan, but things have gone stale.


It’s mad when Salah scores a goal or does something good, the eulogising kicks in. Same can’t be said for all of the team. Salah & Ekitike were wasteful first half and had a 15 minute spell of being great. A level of balance & consistency has to be applied

Szoboszlai wasn’t ‘blaming’ those supporters who left early. He said he understood the anger/frustration and admitted the players underperformed and lost control in that dreadful second half. His point was that in difficult times sticking together is important and he’s right.
