MLB UNDER ⬇️📈 1u: Jose Soriano u4.5 K -110 (MGM) Our first one unit play of the year as we’ve seen Soriano already has an outlier performance vs the Astros. Tonight, he faces the Cubs in windy and damp conditions that may cause him to go heavy sinker to keep the ball in play. If he leaves anything hanging in the middle because of the wind then the Cubs will not hold back which is why I think he aims for contact tonight. Given that he’s already an elite GB specialist, that shouldn’t be a problem. Predictability often means that the Cubs will be able to make contact here too. Despite 7 K’s last game, he still had 4 walks which is an area I think he’ll try to clean up as well by filling the zone safely with his fastballs. Rangers got caught off guard against Sanchez changeup but should have a better contact day against Nola and his downward breaking stuff. With the rangers looking for more contact under Schumaker, I think we see some of that against the more contact friendly Nola. Volume and fundamental play here worth a stab! Fatigue could set in here and I'd be surprised if he goes past 80 pitches. Kikuchi has historically struggled on the road and expect this Astros group to bounce back at the expense of Kikuchi IMO. NBA UNDER ⬇️📈 1u: Jalen Duren u22.5 points -103 (DK) Been looking for a Duren fade spot and I think I’m picking it here vs Ayton’s recent effort resurgence. Duren has hands filled tonight covering ground anchoring against the Lakers big 3. This could affect his production on offense especially with him missing Cade’s gravity pulls. He was able to get away without him against smaller teams like the Wizards (twice) and Warriors in his L3 covering the over but I think he runs into some challenges here. LA has been defending centers well lately (7th in defensive rating) and Duren historically struggled in these spots so thats going to repeat IMO.
