Today it’s #GlobalRunningDay. We suggest going for a run, probably as you did yesterday and will tomorrow. Just remember to adhere to government guidelines.

Runners & cyclists, please stop doing marathons and 100 mile bike rides. This is a lockdown and not an extended bank holiday. Keep activities shorter, easier and closer to home. If we don’t act sensibly, much tougher lockdown rules will be imposed.

In light of the advice from our governing body, we have decided that the only responsible course of action for us to take is to cancel all Club activities with immediate effect and until further notice. Stay safe and healthy!

As we had hoped, the wind has dropped significantly and the course has been assessed.
The race will be going ahead as planned at 10.00am
