See the scene with me—
a garden, two humanities, one hour of testing,
and the priestly obedience that will carry the new creation through the weakness of the old.
The garden was quiet, but the moment was not.
Jesus walked ahead — the Second Adam entering a garden where the first had failed.
Behind Him followed regenerate men, sons of the new age, yet still clothed in the weakness of the old.
He took Peter, James, and John deeper in.
These were not unbelievers.
They had confessed Him, followed Him, left everything for Him.
They were already His.
Already alive.
Already regenerate.
But regeneration is not glorification.
And the flesh still clings.
“Remain here. Watch with Me.”
They wanted to.
Truly.
The Spirit had already awakened their hearts.
Their desire was real, not aspirational.
But desire is not power.
Not yet.
Jesus went a little farther — the High Priest stepping into His final vigil.
He fell to the ground, not in despair but in consecration.
“Father, if it is possible… yet not My will, but Yours.”
This was the obedience Adam never rendered.
This was the priestly submission that would secure the very men sleeping behind Him.
He returned to them.
Sleeping.
Not unregenerate.
Not apostate.
Not hostile.
Just human.
Just pre‑Pentecost.
Just weak.
“Could you not watch with Me one hour?”
The question was not condemnation.
It was revelation.
Their spirits were willing — because they were alive.
Their flesh was weak — because the old age still pressed upon them.
“Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation.
The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
This was not a contrast between good intentions and laziness.
It was the anatomy of the overlap of the ages.
Regenerate men,
inhabiting unglorified bodies,
without yet the Pentecostal fullness that would stabilize their obedience.
He went away again.
Prayed again.
Submitted again.
The garden became a sanctuary.
The ground an altar.
The hour a hinge in redemptive history.
A third time He returned.
Still sleeping.
Still regenerate.
Still unable.
But their inability would not determine their destiny.
His obedience would.
He woke them gently.
“Behold, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Rise, let us go.”
They rose — not because they were strong, but because He was.
Their regeneration had made them willing.
His priesthood would make them endure.
The Second Adam walked toward the curse.
The High Priest walked toward the altar.
The Shepherd walked toward the wolves.
And the regenerate, weak, beloved men followed —
held not by their vigilance,
but by His.

Wow. Tucker Carlson just called-wants to come to Jerusalem to share Easter Sunday with me. Said he's been wrong about Israel, Jews, Iran, criticizing @realDonaldTrump & wants to publicly renounce stuff he's been saying and do it right in heart of Israel!

My brother-in-law just returned from a business trip in Nassau where this cigar is made. Having contacts in the cigar business he had it rolled on Saturday, knowing he’d see me today (visiting at his house). He brought it for me to smoke. I had never smoked a freshly rolled cigar before. Top line cigar… a wonderful smoke.

@PatAbendroth @nocoradio @_TSSinclair We live in a narrow, shallow age when it comes to doing theology.

@_TSSinclair Wild to watch people go to the wall for Grudem or another individual's "take" before affirming a historic confession.

“I have found that utilizing a confession is immeasurably better, not to mention easier, as a starting point and theological baseline than a thousand page systematic theology textbook.” @PatAbendroth

Extraordinary testimony! Mitsuo Fuchida, the Imperial Japanese Navy captain who led the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack, converted to Christianity in 1950 following a profound change of heart. Initially bitter after the war, Fuchida was deeply moved by the story of Peggy Covell, whose missionary parents were executed by Japanese forces, yet she chose to show love to Japanese prisoners of war rather than seeking revenge.
This sparked Fuchida’s interest in Christianity. He soon encountered the testimony of Jacob DeShazer, an American POW who shared his story of finding God in a Japanese camp in I Was a Prisoner of Japan (1950). In September 1949, Fuchida became a Christian. “Looking back,” he said later, “I can see now that the Lord had laid his hand upon me so that I might serve him.”

At JFK Airport, as travelers waited in hours-long lines, an infant became unresponsive and stopped breathing. The panic of the child’s family and nearby passengers were heard by an ICE agent stationed at a checkpoint.
This heroic officer immediately sprang into action—rushing toward the cries, taking the child, and performing a Heimlich maneuver that restored the infant’s breathing after nearly two minutes.
This officer’s extraordinary bravery embodies the selfless service of DHS law enforcement.

Hello Senator Thune,
Let's expose what you're really doing with "reconciliation."
You announced it yesterday, eleven months after the House passed the SAVE America Act. You're not trying to pass this bill. You're trying to kill it in a way you can blame on process.
Here's how we know:
Reconciliation requires the Senate parliamentarian to rule that provisions are "budgetary." Citizenship verification is not budgetary. Photo ID mandates are not budgetary. The parliamentarian will gut the bill. Then you'll shrug and say "we tried." We see through you.
Meanwhile, you WON'T use the tools that actually work:
Rule XIX limits each senator to two speeches per legislative day. Keep the Senate in continuous session, file cloture daily, and the filibuster exhausts in ~12-20 days. You dismissed it as "complicated." Because if you tried and succeeded, you'd have to actually pass the bill.
Harry Reid nuked the filibuster in 2013 when he wanted results.
Mitch McConnell changed Senate rules THREE times and canceled the August recess.
Chuck Schumer used reconciliation within months on a 50-50 Senate.
You have 53 seats. You've changed nothing, canceled nothing, and waited eleven months.
Now let's talk donors:
• Goldman Sachs: $150K to you - top H-1B user
• Google: $75K - lobbies against E-Verify
• Meta: $72.5K - Zuckerberg's FWD[.]us pushes mass immigration
• Wells Fargo: $90K - banks undocumented immigrants
Same corporations sponsor Punchbowl News, where you sit for "Fly Out Days" which nobody watches except Congress staffers and K Street lobbyists who pays premium bucks for legislative intelligence. Their reporter then telegraphs to the audience the SAVE Act "will ultimately fail."
Corporate money flows to you AND to the outlet that frames your inaction as inevitable.
We see the loop.
You called grassroots anger a "paid influencer ecosystem." YOU are the paid influencer. You take the wrong side of a 80% issue because you are indistinguishable from a K Street mouthpiece, and an ineffective one to boot who won't bend the rules to get anything passed.
What we want:
1. Force a real talking filibuster.
2. Stop hiding behind process.
3. Pass the SAVE America Act.
YOU will become the reason that we will have our butts kicked in midterms. Not Candace Owens, not Nick Fuentes, not anyone else. You and you alone, and all because you want to make the 200 or so viewers of Punchbowl Fly Out Days happy. You're living in a K Street information bubble, addicted to the comforts and praises of lobbyists masquerading as journalists. You mistake the steak and martini dinners you get invited to as your own constituents.
You are not "moderate." The SAVE America Act has 98% support among Republicans. Name one other thing that has 98% support. You are an extreme minority who prides himself on being a calm leader, when in reality you are well in the running for the most ineffective Majority leader of all time.
Prove me wrong. Do the bare modicum of effort. Not symbolic. Actual effort. Cancel the recess. Get SAVE America Act passed.

When pastors lose the kingdom‑covenant architecture, the Psalms collapse into two predictable defaults: moralism or psychologizing.
If the Old Covenant frame disappears, the preacher has no categories for royal representation, covenant lawsuit, enthronement, or national horizon.
So he retreats into the only tools left: virtue and feelings.
But the Psalter is not a self‑help manual.
It is the constitutional songbook of the King.
Read without the kingdom, it becomes about “me.”
Read within the kingdom, it becomes about Him—and only then about His people.
Recover the architecture and you recover the Psalms.
