The Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft for the Artemis II mission arrived to the launch pad today at 11:21am ET (1521 UTC). We are gearing up for preparations ahead of launch of the crewed lunar mission. The earliest possible launch opportunity is April 1. go.nasa.gov/4sXHmtl

Initial Super Heavy V3 and Starbase Pad 2 activation campaign complete, wrapping up several days of testing that loaded cryogenic fuel and oxidizer on a V3 vehicle for the first time. While the 10-engine static fire ended early due to a ground-side issue, we saw successful startup on all installed Raptor 3 engines. Next up: preparing the booster for a 33-engine static fire

NASA teams have polled 'go' to proceed toward Artemis II's launch around the Moon. We're targeting March 19 to roll the rocket out to the launchpad at @NASAKennedy in advance of a launch attempt on April 1, pending completion of work at the pad: go.nasa.gov/4b8jgq3

We are standing down for today's Alpha Flight 7 launch attempt after the team saw some off-nominal readings during fluids loading. We continue to be intentionally cautious with a focus on quality and reliability leading up to this test flight. We will work with the @SLDelta30 to determine the next available window. The @FAANews has made a favorable payload determination for Haven-1 following interagency review with NASA, the State Department, the Commerce Department, and national security stakeholders. This marks another step forward in launching Haven-1, expected to be the world's first commercial station when it is ready to launch in Q1 2027.

From Space Beach to the Space Coast, Terran R progress continued across design, build, test, and launch. 🔧 Vehicle integration progressed across the first and second stage tanks, interstage, and thrust structure. Work continues on second flight hardware in parallel. 🔥 At @NASAStennis , propulsion testing ramped up across Aeon R and Aeon V engines. 🌴 At LC-16, major launch hardware arrived on-site, including the launch mount and transporter-erector strongback.

NASA will host a conference on March 12 to highlight progress toward the Artemis II mission around the Moon, targeted to launch no earlier than April. This live event will take place following the flight readiness review for the Moonbound mission. go.nasa.gov/4ljHH75
