Farmers if you would like the freedom to pursue hemp fiber and grain production when profitable you should be aware that the unintended consequences of the Miller amendment that has passed the House Ag Committee will several limit this option.

The discrepancy in price increases for food and commodities, coupled with increased inputs required to grow food, means farmers are receiving a smaller share of every dollar spent on food but paying more to produce it. Farmers and ranchers get 7.8 cents out of every dollar @USFRA

A lot of farmers around here scoff at “regenerative” ag. I feel that over the next 20 years we’ll have to figure out what that means for this area though. Not going to be able to offset poor soil function by pumping more water anymore.

@JapaRican1989 @xbkrisback @WallStreetSilv Regenerative agriculture is starting to gain traction in the US. The use of cover crops to provide nutrients for the cash crops (corn, soybeans, wheat) will lessen the need for fertilizer. This is the future imo
