@BenOndaTop I’m all for getting the most money and putting family first but let’s not act like he didn’t already sign a 100 mill contract and this contract would’ve put him north of 250 for his career earnings. His family would’ve been set for generations. At some point it’s greed.

Who got greedy? The billionaire in his 70’s or the 30 yr old athlete trying to maximize his future earnings the best he can with the minimal physical window he has to do so? I think the Astros offer was fair. But, if Alex (or any player) thinks he can command more. I’m with that.
