Just left a beautiful service filled with community members in New Ulm honoring the memory of Captain Bill Bianchi. A recipient of the Medal of Honor during World War II, Captain Bianchi was killed in action in 1945 at just 29 years old. His remains were only just identified last August and his family kept his memory alive all those years. May he rest in peace.
