@eija_laakkonen @samrip Thanks @eija_laakkonen for the great suggestions! Unfortunately, we do not have sex hormones data in our cohort, so we could not explore relationship between menopause and lipidome further. We do have information on HT and it would be interesting to look at that in more detail.

CVD risk is known to differ between M and F, particularly before menopause. But why? @TabRubina looks for clues in a rich set of lipids in middle-aged men and women and show widespread differences in age-dependent lipid profiles. Do genes explain the differences? Have a look👇🏼
