@bennpeifert And never underestimate tissue/newspaper in a bath. Heaps of fun. If you start young you can train them to chase a retrieve balls - start small with foil or mini foam/wool balls.

Chatting to a 60yr old mate whose 87yr old mum has started to need home care for dementia. 2hrs pd @ £31ph is c. £23K a yr, her entire pension. He’s just realised that if she has to go into a home, it’s £84K a yr near him. Savings and house=5yrs. Her mum made 95! Inheritance? 😳
@anon_opin Lot of replies here for the WFH brigade… I understand the boredom in that situation but it was different if you were front line health etc, supermarket, transport, delivery, micro business. A lot of trauma in the latter categories.
@leonburton@adamgaines An increase in employment allowance would also be a good way to help SMEs cope with the soaring wage bills…doubt we will see it but it would be easy and instant.

Why are nearly all ready-made breakfasts sweet (e.g. cereals)? The only way to go savoury is either toast something, or to get out a frying pan and cook from scratch. Where are the savoury ready-made breakfast options? Pop Tarts with cheese in, for example.
