@MagnificoLover Newer animation seems so bland compared to older movies, cartoons series and all that, both in style and storytelling. I feel like it has a lot to do with the whole "but think of the children!" Feel like for example Courage the cowardly dog would've been a big nope nowadays.

In 2023 I contemplated whether I outgrew animation because I'm not a teen anymore so I rewatched this exact movie with my friends. Turns out the current quality is just awful, this movie made us all laugh like crazy
