If you follow me — or if you just happen to see my posts — understand one thing:
I’m fair.
I think.
I don’t latch onto the first thing I hear just because it sounds good or fits my feelings.
If I disagree with you, it’s not pettiness.
Sometimes I’m challenging an idea to understand it better.
Sometimes I just see the issue differently.
And sometimes? We simply agree to disagree — a skill people seem to have forgotten exists.
It’s not “my way or the highway.”
It’s called conversation.
Deep knowledge doesn’t come from comfort.
It doesn’t grow out of echo chambers, easy answers, or emotional reactions.
Real understanding requires you to step into discomfort.
To examine things you don’t want to examine.
To question your own assumptions.
To hear ideas that might make you pause before you respond.
True learning doesn’t need yelling, talking over each other, or trying to dominate the room.
It just needs honesty, patience, and the willingness to sit in the gray areas long enough to actually understand them.
If you’re here, expect fairness.
Expect thoughtfulness.
And expect real discussions — not knee-jerk reactions.

✈️ This pilot flat-out refused to take off… even though the crew had already cleared the plane for departure.
He had a bad gut feeling — oil pressure on engine #2 was trending up and the fuel system filter still needed replacing. He told the passengers straight up:
“They told us the plane is good to go, but I’m not really feeling it. I’m not going to leave the ground if I’m not completely certain that we have an airworthy aircraft. So I’m refusing the aircraft. I feel a lot more comfortable making this call than flying six hours over the water and maybe having an issue.”
He apologized for the delay, then had everyone deplane so maintenance could fix it properly.
In a world that’s always rushing, this pilot chose safety over schedule and put every single life on that plane first ❤️
I would you rather have a pilot who listens to his gut like this than one who just sticks to the schedule no matter what... how about you?

@RealDonKeith lol loving the comments a little bit “if somebody asked you not to lean your seat back don’t do it” no sir or ma’am, you made the mistake of going on an airplane that has leaning seats. Passengers ARE entitled to use them. Deal with it

I don’t get why some people on airplanes think the rules don’t apply to them.
I once had a guy behind me ask me if I didn’t mind could I not recline my seat on an 8 hr flight to London because he was tall and my seat hit his knees.
No thanks, pal. That’s why I paid for the exit row because I’m tall as well and I’m not sitting upright for 8 hrs because you didn’t think ahead.
English

Yeah I don’t get why people are entitled. “The seat is empty no one’s sitting here”
Ok but if the flight attendant or staff tells you to move back you move back, the mentality of
“Well it was empty so I should be able to use it” it’s not a high school auditorium. Obey the rules
