I’m not saying Tatum should do everything. I’m saying other franchises fully tailor their roster/system around maximizing their superstar specifically. Boston has spent years balancing a 1a 1b star dynamic instead of fully leaning into Tatum as the singular engine.

@Jaysontatumg Exactly. That’s basically how I see it too. They’ve always balanced the roster around a co-star dynamic instead of fully maximizing Tatum specifically. I just want to see what happens when he’s undeniably the clear-cut #1 and the roster is built around elevating HIS game.

At this point it feels like the Celtics organization does not fully trust Tatum to be the guy. Let him be the clear cut 1. Challenge him to be the best player in the league and actually build around him. Fully give him the keys and let’s see where that takes us.
