Two Interesting Data Graphs on West Bengal, in light of the per capita GDP conversation.
1) Per Capita GDP and share in national GDP trends. GDP share of the state has declined regularly since the 60s. There were short periods of rebounds but overall graph has been declining regularly.
2) Share of industrial output. This one is particularly stark. From 30% to 3%.
