@tavrpgs Lo miro llegando a casa, pero diria que ambos. Dispatch en particular se quedo corto para mi, le habria dado 4 capitulos mas y mas delecciones, el mini-juego tambien deberia haber tenido elecciones que se reflejen en la trama.

Haranir should be reworked to be quilboar adjacent. The call of Aln'hara changed them as they descended deeper into the earth, and instead of thornvines, they came to worship the roots in the same way. They have physical similarities and cultural similarities.

I'm so confused by this decision. I understand not wanting to gate the raid for too long, but nothing was stopping them from just making two weeks' worth of quests but releasing them in a single week. It's not like you have to complete the quests to unlock the raid like in TBC.

@Rystia_FFXIV @VartioArtel @aycanigetapizza @Laganish One thing that 14 does better than WoW is that it demands a lot from its players in general. In WoW, if you're lucky, you might not have to deal with certain mechanics like DPS, but 14 puts responsibility on every player without exception.

they're the only role expected to know or do anything, and they aren't rewarded for the extra responsibility/effort, that might help but also tons of people are just toxic losers backseating and I have no idea where to even start with that, let tanks give people deserter, lmao?

@Aryn_XIV Simple, por que en otros juegos en algun punto empesaron a prestarle mas atencion a gente asi por que se pasaban quejando de carencia de contenido pero ignoraban la historia, asi que esto se hace en parte para contrarrestar ese ruido y que 14 no pierda su escensia

Los mejores consejos para un nuevo jugador de Final Fantasy XIV: - No es un MMORPG, es un RPGMMO, en ese orden. - Tratar la historia principal como si fuera la de cualquier otro RPG single-player incrementa mil veces la experiencia de juego. - Tómate tu tiempo para explorar, leer y entender cada parte sin prisas y mantén ese mindset siempre presente. Saber disfrutar de ese pacing lo es todo para sacarle todo el partido a una historia irrepetible. - El camino a través de las expansiones es el juego en sí. El contenido del final enlaza con todo lo previo y como se disfruta de verdad es habiendo conocido todo anteriormente. - Skipear la historia principal significa saltarse la pendiente de aprendizaje, la progresión, el entendimiento y avance de la situación, no conocer su mundo, sus personajes ni saber qué sucede en el juego. No es recomendable. - Si tienes amigos jugando, no te preocupes por no poder jugar con ellos porque pueden acompañarte en muchos puntos, como en dungeons que tengas que hacer, pvp, raids que vayas desbloqueando y disfrutar juntos de tu experiencia. (Es algo que a los veteranos nos encanta ver 👌🏼) -Sobre todo y ante todo, disfruta. No estás preparado para todo lo que vas a ver. #FFXIV #FF14

@Salvaricoque @DunAard minimo? lo dudo, y la historia tambien tiene componente social, al menos si entras en una guild o tienes amigos, cuando yo jugue habia gente junto a compañandome a las dungeons, raids, recomendandome secundarias etc. es como compartir un libro, comic, manga o serie que amas.

Empecé hace 2 años en el XIV y a día de hoy es la mejor experiencia jugable que he vivido jamás, dios me libre de querer saltarme 800h de disfrute por el simple hecho de estar a la par que el resto de gente. Disfruta del camino como ha hecho todo el mundo, no del resultado.

It’s 2026, we are gonna be 6 expansions deep into FFXIV soon. Can we stop with the weird gatekeepy behavior if someone doesn’t want to play through 250 hours of story to be able to play some of the best MMO raid encounters ever made? Heaven forbid someone asks you a small lore question if they start getting interested in the story after starting the game 10 years late. Are we really gonna keep driving people away with this weird NIMBY ritual? Just use your social skills (lol) and answer the small question, suggest they start a story alt on their downtime, or direct them to a synopsis video on YouTube. Crying about “story skippers” this deep into a game’s development cycle is peak cringe. If they set up a skip to Dawntrail for new characters to jump into the new story arc I and many others feel like it would be beneficial for the game’s long term health. While the Hydaelyn/Zodiark arc is great storytelling it’s also not a sacred cow for people to clutch pearls over. At the end of the day, it’s a game to be played. We’re all better than this and should start acting like it.
