@clashreport Fiber-optic drones, video quality, come from the Ukrainian war, when both sides used jamming, 3-20, powerful 40 km. Video evidence is plentiful online. Already in use, thousands of launches. The primary war machine.

Iraq’s Iranian-backed Kataib Hezbollah has released drone footage of an attack on the U.S. Victory Base near Baghdad International Airport. It is believed to be the first time the group has successfully used an FPV attack drone to bypass U.S. defenses.

@AricToler It's a completely unclear question: why has Iran, at this stage, not yet used its greatest advantage—soldiers, mobile proxy forces, and hand-held FPV drone operators—in the war?

Saudi Arabia is negotiating to purchase Ukrainian interceptor drones and electronic-warfare systems to counter drone threats similar to Iran’s Shahed drones. The deal, potentially worth millions, hasn’t been finalized. Gulf countries are studying Ukraine’s counter-drone methods, which include interceptor drones and signal-jamming technology. Source: WSJ

Insane footage showing multiple interceptors from a U.S. Army MIM-104 “Patriot” Surface-to-Air Missile Battery launching and downing Iranian ballistic missiles earlier tonight during an attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, with at least one ballistic missile seen striking the base, reportedly damaging a clinic on Al Udeid.

@clashreport I honestly don't know why Claude would be used, when there are already models that test for hallucinations. Claude is strangely uncreative when it comes to writing and coding.

BIG: The UK is refusing to approve US use of RAF bases (Diego Garcia and RAF Fairford) for potential strikes on Iran, citing international law concerns. The dispute is said to be behind President Trump withdrawing support for the UK’s Chagos Islands deal with Mauritius. The US is drawing up strike plans, but British approval is required — and hasn’t been granted. Source: The Times

@DefenseTrends 1. During a modern war, an armored personnel carrier will 100% not reach the firing positions and will be destroyed by the first drone. 2. Soldiers do not run around the trenches and constantly sit in cover and observe from it.

An alarming wargame, and real-life concerns. European officials fear that Russia may stage an incursion into NATO and the EU much sooner than the previous readiness deadline of 2029. In one scenario, a Russian force of 15,000 troops was enough to sever the land corridor between the Baltics and the rest of the alliance. wsj.com/world/europe/a…

@clashreport In Roman society, right up to the Borgias, such behavior was the norm. Gates would have even been forgiven for wearing unwashed underwear, but married women, strangely enough, are taking revenge for their youth. They wouldn't let me, and now I'm fucking your wives.

For the first time, Russian BM-35 drone was confirmed to be controlled via Starlink. Previously, Starlink was only seen on Molniya drones. Shahed drones using Starlink are likely coming soon. Such drones are resistant to electronic warfare and can strike targets accurately under direct operator control from Russia.

@Skostnialy @clashreport The article format is silly, but the creation (0.55 NA) is a matter of time, and it's clearly not a copy if the dimensions and shape are different. The EUV technology itself came from Taiwan, when their company was acquired by ASML.

@tallinn @clashreport You realize that they are talking about basic EUV when ASML has already shipped High-NA EUV? Also this article is probably bs. Few months ago China needed ASML help cause they destroyed older DUV machine when they tried to reverse engineer it xD

China’s ‘Manhattan Project’ for Chips Nears Breakthrough China has secretly built a prototype extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machine—the most advanced tool needed to make cutting-edge AI chips—marking a major step toward semiconductor self-sufficiency. Developed in a high-security lab in Shenzhen and completed in early 2025, the machine was reverse-engineered by former ASML engineers and now fills nearly an entire factory floor. It can generate EUV light but has not yet produced working chips. China aims for success by 2028, though insiders say 2030 is more realistic. The project, described by Reuters sources as a Chinese “Manhattan Project,” is backed by the government, coordinated in part by Huawei, and involves thousands of engineers operating under strict secrecy. Recruitment of retired and overseas Chinese experts, aggressive incentives, and the reuse of parts from older Western machines have accelerated progress. Despite the breakthrough, China still lags behind ASML in precision optics and reliability. Even so, the existence of a working EUV prototype suggests China is far closer to rivaling Western chipmaking capabilities than previously believed, despite years of U.S. and allied export controls.
