BYU paid $7 million to AJ Dybantsa. He led the nation in scoring. Cool. They finished 10th in the Big 12 and were a 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament after losing a key guard to injury. They lost to an 11-seed Texas team that finished 10th in the SEC. Is that NIL $ well spent?

@stackerco Yes because the haters are so original, creative, and certainly don’t repeat the same arguments over and over again 🙄 Matt is a good dude. You are not required to hate him just because you hate our religion.

Haha I haven’t dig a hole you weirdo. My gripe is Joseph’s shady business dealings of marrying other men’s wives while they were gone…. God also gave the Israelites 10 plagues was that good? He even gave the Israelites a plague or 2.. Just because God gives something doesn’t mean it’s a good thing lol

Sending men on missions and then marrying their wives is the biggest chump move. Joseph Smith took advantage of nice gullible people. It’s that same DNA that continues today. That’s the LDS fruits, nice people. It’s in your DNA. Nothing to do with Mormonism.

Lololol you have no idea what they claimed. Jacob is the origin of the house of Israel. Would not be so if he was a mistake. If your gripe is with the use of the word command then I digress. God allowed Joseph to do just as he did in all of these disciples. Either way all the Biblical examples and Joseph himself are completely and wholly inconsequential to my faith today in Jesus Christ. Only you guys constantly talk about it.

@TalonTarone @Salt_n_Smoke I don't, because none of them lied by claiming that God commanded them to marry multiple wives. These marriages actually illustrated why polygamy is wrong. Again, God allowing something to happen is not the same as God commanding it to happen. Now answer mine.

@TalonTarone @KramerHolle @DrakeFantasy I will admit, after this basketball season. I understand Utah fans a lot more about that season now. But at the time, it was funny asf. It’s just how our fanbases are

@TalonTarone @Salt_n_Smoke David inheriting Saul's kingdom and his wives along with it was not God commanding or establishing polygamy as the ideal. Are you going to answer my question? Did Joseph Smith claim that God commanded him to marry all those women, includingin adultery?

@Salt_n_Smoke @JustAGuy_tbh Again, you failed to include the second part of your claim. Which is what this has been about the whole time. Your bigotry, or as we also call it, your bad fruit. Seethe.

“Sending men on missions and then marrying their wives is the biggest chump move.” Back track? This is my claim. It’s is shady. And the fact that you can’t admit it is telling. Very telling. Such good fruits. Your church has a gospel topic essays on it that says Emma didn’t know about all the marriages

God literally said I give you lol this is fun watching you try and weasel out of this hole you have dug yourself. Do you condemn Solomon? Abraham? Jacob? Countless Kings? Exodus: He must not deprive the first wife of food, clothing, or marital rights. Deuteronomy: If a man has two wives… Sola Biblia!!

@TalonTarone @Salt_n_Smoke But you said He commanded polygamy, and then lied about it being commanded in the bible. So what is it? Did God command Joseph to marry so many women and even commit adultery with some of tgem, or did He not?

@KramerHolle @DrakeFantasy Funny how this injury narrative only applies to BYU sports and not Utah football first year in Big 12. However, AJ is a stud and I loved watching him! Money well spent in my book.

@DrakeFantasy The money spent on AJ was very well spent and this is a stupid narrative. A bunch of guys getting season ending injuries changed the composition of th team dramatically

@Salt_n_Smoke @BasedFr8Broker Well, based on how y’all read the Bible, yes. Those of us living in reality would disagree though. Sorry, I am just using your own rules here: The Bible is infallible in its entirety. End of story!

@TalonTarone @Salt_n_Smoke God never once commanded a man to marry multiple wives in the bible. Not once. Full stop. God allowing something to happen doesn't mean He commands it. God allows us to sin, but never commands us to sin.
