This is an age-old argument. Do you use more electricity by leaving your temperature at a certain degree all the time or by only adjusting it when you get home?! Either way, they charge us way too much money.

For one thing, allow your ac to " step down" cooling it when you come home, let it cool off a few degrees and then lower it some more..not all at one time

Statement on Immigration and Protecting Oklahoma Workers As the next Governor of Oklahoma, I will always put Oklahoma families and American workers first. I believe every single person who entered our country illegally should be deported. Immigration is fundamentally a federal issue, and when President Trump begins mass deportations, Oklahoma will stand ready to assist every step of the way. I strongly support Operation Guardian, cracking down on non-domicile commercial driver’s licenses, and fully deputizing our law enforcement to partner with ICE. We will also defend Oklahoma jobs. H-1B and OPT visas may remain an option, but only when it is clearly demonstrated that no qualified Americans or Oklahomans are available to fill those positions. I will stop state agencies and universities from using these programs to replace our own Oklahoma graduates and American workers. I will ban state contracts from going to companies that import cheaper foreign labor instead of hiring Oklahomans. Our tax dollars must serve Oklahomans — not replace them. Period. This is not weakness — this is putting Oklahoma and America first.

Amid a busy week on the campaign trail, my uncle passed away. I adored my Uncle Gary. And he is not suffering any more. It was one of those things where he was just diagnosed with cancer two months ago. I don't have time rn to write/ say all the things I want to. But my uncle inherited $100K from his dad, and purchased a cement-pumping truck with the money. He created a company, a sterling reputation, a beautiful life full of purpose from there. I wish I could remember all the many jobs he did. I know he laid the parking lot and foundation for Crossroads Mall. He is gone, but his work remains. All over Oklahoma. Part of the landscape. He was jeans that stood on their own encrusted with dried cement, brown grocery sacks full of okra and tomatoes from his overflowing garden, a slow and careful ride on the ATV holding the little ones in front of him with a steady hand. Rest in peace, Uncle Gary.

The university fleeced American taxpayers for $75 MILLION in 2025. They claimed they’d “look into it.” Nothing has been done. There hasn’t been one violent student suspended. President Jospeh Harroz Jr. earns a nice salary of $575,000 and a performance bonus of $200,000. The university denied they had any reports of assaults, then admitted they had reports but couldn’t find them due to “someone” misplacing them. $75 million in federal funding, while Christian students are being targeted for assault. Our Department of Education is about to shove even more into this campus for 2026-2027. The University of Oklahoma doesn’t deserve one damn dime until they rid themselves of this garbage.
