استطيع ان اقول بثقة ان اكثرية الشعب اللبناني هي مع: 1. التفاوض مع اسرائيل (مباشر او غير مباشر مسألة شكلية) 2. مع استعادة كامل الاراضي اللبنانية وكل الاسرى كشرط اساسي لأي تفاوض (باستثناء مزارع شبعا المعلقة بين لبنان وسوريا) بما في ذلك ترسيم كامل الحدود البرية والبحرية. 3. مع انهاء الصراع المسلح اي ابعد من فقط هدنة او وقف اطلاق نار، بل اتفاق يسمح باعادة الاعمار وتقديم ضمانات بتجنب الحرب والاقتال بشكل نهائي مسألة عقد اتفاق سلام مع اسرائيل وفتح سفارات، بحاجة لسنوات من بناء الثقة والعمل الداخلي في كل من الدولتين لتحضير قبول هذا الاتفاق من الاغلبية السياسية والشعبية.
