He's a special hitter, who can do special things. He's also a hitter with big moves and a lot of moving parts in his swing. But when he's right, a big tell-tale sign is that he's demolishing spin (like last year & in 2021). Keep an eye out for those signs in the coming days/weeks

As @ByRobertMurray first reported, Blue Jays and Alejandro Kirk have agreed to a $58 million, five-year extension. Kirk could have been a free agent after the 2026 season.

The Alejandro Kirk extension (as first reported by @ByRobertMurray) buys out one arb year & four free agent years. So one way to look at this would be: final arb year for $8 million, first four free agent years at approx. $12.5 million per season.
