Josh Elander better be AGGRESSIVELY going after bullpen arms this upcoming offseason. There is not one bullpen arm on this roster that I trust fully. The offense is scoring and no lead is safe. This Tennessee baseball team has way too much talent to not find bullpen arms.

Coach Elander met with media this morning before heading to Hoover, Alabama for the #SEC tournament. I asked him what the message to the team was. Elander said it’s one word: “Compete.” Other notes from today - 1. He is working with the Vols pro connections to have strategy in place for the ABS system. He loves it. 2. Landon Mack will travel and is on the roster but is still day to day.

Hear me out…if Mack isn’t ready to go, does Arvidson or Appenzeller start Tuesday? Arv threw 32 pitches yesterday, could be ready to go Tuesday. Or App threw 42 pitches Thursday and could be ready Tuesday. That leaves Kuhns and Blanco an extra day to recover.
