CFB 27 thoughts: The gameplay is a huge step forward. It feels better, the visuals are excellent, and all the new equipment and customization additions make the game look much more authentic. I could spend a post just talking about this. If they fixed spat equipment would be near perfect. Gameplay was a thing that really stood out. running around the line of scrimmage is something football games have struggled with since the original PlayStation and Xbox days. Between animation locking and suction mechanics, it always feels unnatural. In CFB 27, it feels like you have control imo. You can actually be a patient, natural ball carrier instead of getting vacuumed into defenders the moment you hit traffic i feel. I played around 6 games on Heisman as Rice OC. Beat multiple top 3 teams. Did some RTG as a CB. I genuinely enjoyed the gameplay. But the long term recruiting bugs and micro transactions can be game ruining. If I only played online head to head, I probably wouldn't care. But that's not how I play this game. I like building a program over multiple seasons The gameplay team absolutely deserves credit. I just hope the Dynasty issues get addressed quickly because that's where I'll spend 80 percent of my time.
