@ArchonsRGay I went to study here because it's cheaper, offers the same college level education, and doesn't put you in debt. I was also forced to.

From a Catholic perspective, some elements can absolutely be preserved. Discipline, gratitude, respect for places are all good and align well with Christian values. (1/3)

@Tomoejp1236 There is an objective truth in life. If something is true, we shouldn't just leave contradictions alone. We should ask which one is true. For Christians, there is much historical and scientifical evidence for it being the truth. I'd like to answer your questions you may have.

Rejecting a religious explanation is not the same as rejecting cultural practice itself. Christians don't believe that trees are gods, but we must still highly respect nature and care for creation. Pagans who converted to Christianity brought their cultural practices along. (3/3)
