Specifically, ~1 in 5 women with HIV reported CPS out-of-home care, 14X the national average! Further, Indigenous and 2SLGBTQ people experienced increased risk of CPS out-of-home care. Stigma reduction, social support, and more research are urgently needed ‼️

When I moved to Victoria, BC, for grad school 8 years ago, a decent, safe, pet-friendly 1-bedroom was $850/mo. Now it's $2100 + utilities, IF you can find it. Graduate income from tri-council funding hasn't increased a cent. Pay grad students a living wage.
