This article has some very important real talk all universities should care about. If you value your grad students and their success/mental health-stop setting funding minimums for LESS than minimum wage and stop charging full tuition for research-based degrees

Such helpful resources and support I've personally received from @UBCGradSchool and @UBC include "You could try our campus foodbank" and "can you ask family for money?"

We, the employers of our students should to support this cause. On its part, @ubc must raise its allocation to university graduate student scholarships and support research on campus.
