@BruceKhuma56714 @llakamuch @MthwakaziNdebe1 @zondo_sikhumba Ndebele is Very Much Convenient in Hre, come to Hre and See for yourself, Pple in Zim don't have probs with Ndebele, apparently it's only those in Byo who have probs with the other 15 official languages. Who doesn't admire Ndebele in Zim? Its even praised as "chi-Ndex" classy!

@Thandooodlamini @zondo_sikhumba "WE CAN'T "???🤣🤣🤣 apparently "WE ARE", And in as much as we have 16 official languages enshrined in the Constitution of the Land, all treated with the same equality and held with the same regard, then any law abiding Citizen shuldn't hv a problem with any language of the 16!

@zondo_sikhumba A police officer’s duty is to serve and protect, regardless of language. If the officer assisted you speaking which ever language they desire, then they did their job. Linguistics belong in classrooms, not government offices.

Told my colleagues about a politician’s child setting up an Easter egg hunt along a motorway (genuinely dangerous), then walking into a major hospital telling nurses to “dance like rabbits” for money. They said I’d made it all up with AI and the videos were fake!💀

@bla_bidza Most of these informal street vendors rely on the same ablution facilities as City Council officials. This situation suggests that the Harare City Council, particularly at Cleveland, is implicitly accommodating or incentivising informal trading activities

I will never forget the day I climbed the stairs of Cleveland House up to the top floor, the administrative block of Harare City Council. It was a deeply unsettling experience. I grew up around many relatives who worked for the council, so I know the standards that once existed. What I saw that day was a stark contrast. The wooden floors are gone, the corridors are dark and intimidating, and the place smells strongly of urine. Near the window overlooking the ground floor, where vendors gather, you’ll find the notorious Town Planning office, an office that has contributed significantly to the city’s decline. Inside, there is complete disorder. What disappointed me most was seeing vendors moving in and out of the offices. It gave the impression that some officials may be working with them, possibly even controlling vending spaces on the pavements outside the building. It is, quite simply, a mess. (Image: @Shotbyogv)

We call for the removal of the Zimbabwean Embassy in SA until they restore the human rights in that country. Failure to do so, we will prevent any official from the Zimbabwean government from participating in any gathering in SA until they respect ordinary Zimbabweans.✊🏿🇿🇼

The physically battered body of Bantu Stephen Biko lay in a mortuary near East London in South Africa 🇿🇦 at the time of his post-mortem, 700 miles from the place of his incarceration by the apartheid white security police, shortly after his death on 7 September 1977. As the South African government continued to propagate lies that Steve Biko had died while on hunger strike, an undercover journalist secretly took the photo of Biko's body and sent it to Britain. The photo bearing Biko's battered face confirmed to the world that the anti-apartheid student activist had been beaten to death while in prison. It later emerged that while in police custody, Biko was stripped naked, shackled to the wall, and severely beaten on the head by his interrogators. As a result, he suffered three brain lesions that resulted in a massive brain haemorrhage. According to an autopsy, an "extensive brain injury" had caused "centralisation of the blood circulation to such an extent that there had been intravasal blood coagulation, acute kidney failure, and uremia".

SAD💔 | Passengers travelling from South Africa to Bulawayo were left stranded after an operation by @ZACConline_ and @Zimra_11 near Makhado. Officials stopped several buses and checked goods being transported. The buses were first told to go back to Beitbridge, but were later sent to Gwanda for inspection. Passengers were made to get off while their luggage was searched, and some goods were taken if there were no proper documents. Many travellers were upset, especially because this happened during Independence Day celebrations. Some said they lost time, money, and important moments, including attending family events and funerals. Authorities have not yet given an official response, but passengers feel the operation was poorly timed and handled. 📸 Ezra Tshisa Sibanda

Hello Crime Watch. Pliz hide ID. On Tuesday night, around 10pm, I went down paFlat pangu Castel Court just by Total Garage located along Samora Machel Avenue, Harare CBD. Pane food court so I wanted to buy food. While I was inside the food outlet, I was approached by ZRP officers who then force marched me into a police truck that was parked outside. I kept on asking what mhosva yangu was but ndai haraswa and they ended up physically assauIting me. I was thrown in one of the cells at Harare Central and I spent the whole night. I was only released on Wednesday at around 7pm after being made to sign an admission of guilt form for public drinking and made to pay a fine of US$60 but on the receipt they wrote 378 ZiG. The night I was arrested, I was not even drinking when they arrested me.. I'm so so hurt. Is this what Zimbabwe has become. I now hate the police zvekutodaro. @PoliceZimbabwe
