This week, I had the distinct honor of welcoming our fallen heroes home at Dover Air Force Base. Earlier in the week, I was privileged to address the incredible members and supporters of the @TAPSorg family. Thank you, Bonnie, and every member of your organization for ensuring no Gold Star Family walks alone. It was my privilege to present the 2026 Senator Ted Stevens Leadership Award to Sara Wilson, a Navy widow who transformed profound loss into a lifetime of selfless service. Sara has been the quiet, unbreakable anchor for countless survivors, including the family of West Virginia Guardsman Andy Wolfe, in their darkest hours. Survivors lifting survivors, that is the soul of TAPS. God bless our fallen, their families, and this great Nation.

Last night’s @TAPSorg Honor Guard Gala was a profound reminder that when mission-driven organizations align, the impact on America's survivor community is limitless. I was honored to stand alongside Sean Loosen, CEO of PDS Optical, and Bonnie Carroll President and Founder of Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, to honor survivors and celebrate a partnership that continues to deepen. At @Evocati_PR, we take immense pride in facilitating connections that drive real value. Seeing PDS Optical, an EPR client, step-up as a Freedom Sponsor for the Gala underscores their unwavering commitment to America's military and veteran survivor community. The energy in the room was electric, but the true star of the evening was a young man named Cambridge. His speech was a masterclass in heart and resilience, moving the audience to stand and pledge their support on the spot. His rapport with General Dempsey reminded everyone that while the grief is real, the community surrounding these families is even stronger. Purpose-driven PR is about more than just visibility; it's about creating meaningful connections that result in a homerun for the clients and the communities they serve. This partnership between TAPS and PDS Optical is a testament to what happens when leadership prioritizes service. Thank you to the entire TAPS team for a world-class evening and to the Evocati PR team for your relentless professionalism. We work hard, but the mission makes every late-night worth it. Success for the firm is great, but success for America’s military survivor community is why we show up.

Great news: the Love Lives On Act just passed out of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee! Surviving military spouses have already faced unimaginable loss and they should never have to choose between moving forward and keeping the benefits their family earned through sacrifice. 2026 @NBAAllStar weekend Recap ⭐️🏀🌴 Both NBA and G-League Referees attended and officiated each All-Star event this past weekend and celebrated the greatest game in the world with the basketball community and beyond. We had an amazing time meeting with @teams4taps families, sharing moments with NBA greats, celebrating the HBCU classic, and remembering our brother Tony Brown through 6 Strong Foundation. Looking forward to Phoenix in 2027!
