@msnofficial_on The only issue with this is that play store updates are not optimized per device like IOS security updates are. If you’ve ever used an old Android after so much time of no use, it will be mostly smooth until you connect it to the internet and play services updates

"I hope Google fixes it" Google??? What does Google have to do with third-party app quality? The only reason apps feel different on Android is that developers care less about the Android version. There is nothing fundamentally stopping any app from feeling the same as it does on iOS. I do agree, though, I wish Android apps felt nicer. Unironically (and I can't believe I'm saying this), the new X beta on Android is one of the nicest-feeling apps I've used; it manages to avoid the pitfalls that a lot of other apps fall into (like the state being reset when you switch apps).

Day 1 of switching to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (as an iPhone user) the first thing i noticed was the build. this thing’s shaped like a LITERAL BRICK. it definitely takes some getting used to- especially since i’m coming from the very compact iPhone 17 Pro- but i actually kinda like it ngl the screen on the S24 Ultra is perfectly flat and rectangular, which is rly nice for watching content. i don’t quite know how to describe it, it just feels sort of… natural. cuz like. rectangular screen, rectangular content. you get what i mean.

It doesn’t make any sense that the iPhone doesn’t get to peak brightness under the sun if manual brightness is turned on. People that we use manual brightness is because we don’t want the screen to be dim, so we normally use 100% brightness during the day, so it doesn’t make any sense at all that we have to switch to auto brightness every time we are outdoors if we want the display to get bright under the sun.

I love how people that are defending USB-A now are using the exact same arguments that got used against the removal of Lightning. But lightning was bad (because it's from Apple). USB-A is somehow loved because manufacturers keep this shit living in every computer peripheral and whatever. ALL of which could and SHOULD be updated to USB-C at this point.

And yeah, maybe it’s fine for basic daily use, but if you end up wanting to play a game or taking tons of videos & pictures, it just won’t make it.

I genuinely don't understand the unnecessary pressure in advocating for 7000, 10,000 mAh batteries. Galaxy S25 Ultra has a phenomenal battery, one that lasts all day comfortably. Just plug in your phone at the end of the day like a normal person, and be a responsible adult.
