I think the fairness dream died when the Premier League became what it is today, the effect of that will always push down, trying to change that will have little to no effect.
I feel clubs at our level need to get with the times and look at the commercial side of things, that's where alot of our money comes from (obviously subsidised by our American owner)

So Hourihane got battered for not signing Dom Ballard because of a bad character reference (not proven to be the case), but the same character references made us dodge this. Last thing we need is bad eggs round the place.

Frustrating and unambitious but safe. Our owner talks about the dire straits of L1 finances and most clubs are in danger.

We have the money to do It, I get the frustration of Barnsley fans, they should be able to compete with us on a financial level but you can't.

There’s something so pure about international football when you think about it. Club football players kiss the badge then fuck off when they’re offered £50k a week more but these lads pull on that England shirt and it means everything to them. Can’t not get behind them.

@tomvinall00 Not heard a single person say that, and if they have, it's a tiny minority. Look at the flags at the games hung up. Rarely see united, city or Liverpool. Barnsley, Cambridge, Blackburn, Bristol City everywhere
