Shai Gilgeous-Alexander not being at the top of the NBA’s MVP rankings is so disrespectful.
Say what you want about his play style, but he’s the best player on the best team in the NBA. The Thunder are likely going to win another championship this year, and it’s largely because of him.
Remember all the noise when the Lakers won 9 straight games? OKC has won 12 straight. Let’s be real.
SGA is the MVP… and it’s not even close.

SGA has been far and away the best player in the league for the ENTIRE SEASON…Wemby makes his own MVP pitch in a post game interview (weird) and he jumps him?
Recency bias is genuinely ruining NBA voting💀

NBA.com’s updated MVP Ladder: 1. Victor Wembanyama 2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 3. Nikola Jokić 4. Luka Dončić 5. Jaylen Brown 6. Cade Cunningham 7. Jalen Johnson 8. Kawhi Leonard 9. Donovan Mitchell 10. Anthony Edwards

@CDRosario_ He’s quite average. Folks act like he’s some all world defender. Folks, being annoying ass OKC fans!

The NBA presented three comprehensive anti-tanking concepts to its Board of Governors on Wednesday, with modifications expected to each before a formal vote in May, per ESPN sources.
1. 18 teams in draft lottery (seeds 7-15 in each conference) – flattened odds, with bottom 10 teams having an 8% chance, the remaining 20% odds distributed in decreasing order for 11 through 18, and and a lottery drawing for all 18 picks.
2) 22 teams in lottery using 2-year record (seeds 7-15, plus the four playoff first round exits in both conferences). Lottery teams would reach a minimum win total floor in each season, such as 25 wins. If a team falls short of the floor, it gets slotted to meet the floor. Top 4 drawn as part of lottery, as is currently.
3) 18 teams in a "5 by 5" lottery – bottom 5 teams have equal odds for the top pick, with lottery formed for picks 1-5. Bottom 5 teams have a floor at 10; those that fall out of top 5 get sorted in a separate drawing.

@Justlove_drea Just curious but are you often off by one leg if the whole thing doesn’t cash? And do you play a lot of slips?

@MarkBrooksArt They aren’t going to fix shit. They are going to implement their plan to permanently fix the vote by mass importation & naturalization of tens of millions. They are going to punish anyone who has ever opposed them. We will be lucky if they don’t start a civil war.

Here’s the thing. We are going to HATE the next democratic president. Because they’re going to have to spend 4 years fixing our incredibly broken govt while figuring out how to restore our economy while mending nearly all our international relationships. All while addressing a country that’s basically insolvent. We got pilfered by the current administration so there’s entire systems that got wiped out while contractors and corporations got bloated off our tax dollars via special favors for and from Trump. This is going to mean higher taxes across the board and massive sacrifices just to get us back to neutral. Trump stole and gave away billions while wrecking every institution he could get his hands on. It’s going to hurt to fix them all and regain what we lost. This will all be while a restored justice dept prosecutes dozens of people in the Trump administration for massive corruption. It’s going to get very messy. I honestly don’t know how they’ll be able to do it and be able to win a second term. The majority of the country won’t understand why it’s necessary for their/our future.

Zach Lowe (and Mo Dakhil) have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as their MVP:
“I think Shai, start to finish, this is his MVP. He also has a 400 minute advantage over Wembanyama, which, it matters, that’s a lot. When Shai is putting up the kind of value he is, on both ends of the floor… And he’s shooting the way he’s shooting, throw in the minutes, if they clinch the No. 1 seed, I think it’s his MVP. I do think Wemby has a real case, I think he’s made it to 2nd on my ballot, over Jokic…”

I hope the new generation sees SGA in a good light, because he will be the best player of their generation.
I don’t tweet too much about SGA, yet at least, but he is must see TV if social media didn’t ruin everyone’s perception.

SGA showing fans in Philly some love

Wemby is awesome. Luka is awesome. Jokic is awesome.
But SGA has been the best player in the NBA this season.
SGA leads Wemby in:
Points
Assists
Steals
Turnovers (fewer)
FG%
3PT%
FT%
TS%
Wemby leads SGA in:
Rebounds
Blocks
SGA record: 49-11
Wemby record: 44-13
Justin Termine@TermineRadio
The gap between Wemby & SGA on defense is just as big, if not bigger, than the gap between SGA & Jokic on defense. So if defense is that important, like it was last yr in voting, I don't see how Wemby doesn't have the edge for MVP. SGA is good on defense... Wemby is historic.

Carmelo Anthony says SGA is the MVP
“The players know who the real MVP is. That’s all that matters… To me, I think it’s clear-cut. I think it’s SGA: best team in the NBA, best player on the team. That’s hard to argue, and the man is averaging 30. When you see an MVP, you know.”

@royceyoung So here’s my question. Why are Thunder fans or reporters or whoever so damn insufferable? Why do y’all keep playing victim despite everything that has gone your way for the past year? When will y’all stop being insufferable?
