Shai Gilgeous-Alexander not being at the top of the NBA’s MVP rankings is so disrespectful. Say what you want about his play style, but he’s the best player on the best team in the NBA. The Thunder are likely going to win another championship this year, and it’s largely because of him. Remember all the noise when the Lakers won 9 straight games? OKC has won 12 straight. The NBA presented three comprehensive anti-tanking concepts to its Board of Governors on Wednesday, with modifications expected to each before a formal vote in May, per ESPN sources. 1. 18 teams in draft lottery (seeds 7-15 in each conference) – flattened odds, with bottom 10 teams having an 8% chance, the remaining 20% odds distributed in decreasing order for 11 through 18, and and a lottery drawing for all 18 picks. 2) 22 teams in lottery using 2-year record (seeds 7-15, plus the four playoff first round exits in both conferences). Lottery teams would reach a minimum win total floor in each season, such as 25 wins. If a team falls short of the floor, it gets slotted to meet the floor. Top 4 drawn as part of lottery, as is currently. 3) 18 teams in a "5 by 5" lottery – bottom 5 teams have equal odds for the top pick, with lottery formed for picks 1-5. Bottom 5 teams have a floor at 10; those that fall out of top 5 get sorted in a separate drawing.

Here’s the thing. We are going to HATE the next democratic president. Because they’re going to have to spend 4 years fixing our incredibly broken govt while figuring out how to restore our economy while mending nearly all our international relationships. All while addressing a country that’s basically insolvent. We got pilfered by the current administration so there’s entire systems that got wiped out while contractors and corporations got bloated off our tax dollars via special favors for and from Trump. This is going to mean higher taxes across the board and massive sacrifices just to get us back to neutral. Trump stole and gave away billions while wrecking every institution he could get his hands on. It’s going to hurt to fix them all and regain what we lost. This will all be while a restored justice dept prosecutes dozens of people in the Trump administration for massive corruption. It’s going to get very messy. I honestly don’t know how they’ll be able to do it and be able to win a second term. The majority of the country won’t understand why it’s necessary for their/our future.
