Our city NEEDS Blairvadach, Glasgow’s kids NEED these experiences, probably more than any other community in Scotland. This is shameful and if we stand by we have let you kids down .

@Jenmccarey @susanquinn1 All true. I also feel for the instructors, some of whom have been there many years, showing a true social commitment, when they could have earned a lot more with a private company.

@wgsaraband Moran taing! I should have no excuse on Skye, I hear Gaelic everyday. It was just being brave enough to try in front of a complete stranger. Fingers crossed I dare to try a bit more often now on unsuspecting Gaels!

My confidence is growing. For the first time ever I had a little chat with the lady in the petrol station in Gaelic. We started small with a quick Ciamar a tha sibh, moved to a Tha beagan Gàidhlig agam & then a wee chat about an t-sìde! Only ever spoken Gaelic to someone I know!

A freezing cold, quiet day in the shop 😨. But brightened up by a very inspiring chat with a super stylish lady sporting awasome bright yellow tartan trousers (discovered to be her own creation). Turned out to be Scottish designer @sandramurraymbe who created (among many things)

My favourite Scottish accent isn’t any from of the big cities or small towns - it’s the ones where people from all over the globe with their own dialects and twangs start merging with the Scottish one to create such a wide range of new, beautiful Scottish accents.

Another wee chair given a tartan makeover with Moon Wool recovered seat exposing more of the wood, replaced missing studs and a just a little wax to give a sheen to the arms. 😊
