@LaciMarieKnight Truly sad what happened. If we did not kill humans who were carrying Covid, then how could we justify killing ostriches that were defenseless. Of course, they would have built their immunity over time, as nature always does. But they didn't get a chance, so it may repeat again 😞

A Statement on Behalf of All Canadians
We, the people of Canada, can no longer turn away when injustice unfolds before us. Our silence has cost too much—our trust, our dignity, and now, the lives of innocent creatures.
At the Universal Ostrich Farm, a peaceful family stood for life, liberty, and truth—and paid the price for daring to question authority. Their ostriches, symbols of resilience and grace, were destroyed under the banner of bureaucracy and “biosecurity.” This was not just the loss of animals—it was the loss of conscience.
A badge does not grant moral superiority. A piece of paper does not justify cruelty. And a weapon does not make one right.
True authority flows from compassion, courage, and the people themselves. When those sworn to protect instead persecute, it is resistance—not obedience—that preserves freedom.
The Universal Ostrich Farm stands as a warning and a call. If we fail to defend the innocent now, who will defend us when our turn comes?
Let this moment awaken the hearts of this nation. Let us rise—not in anger, but in unwavering conviction—to hold every institution accountable to truth and humanity.
We will stand. We will speak. We will not comply with tyranny.
For freedom, for truth, for life—for all.
Jim Kerr - Universal Ostrich Farm

@robinmonotti @elonmusk Heat deaths reduction? What about ecological collapse impacting every other biosphere? Think agriculture, forests, floods & rains, and other living organisms?
English

@elonmusk Global warming is good. Heat deaths are tiny compared to cold deaths. If the climate should warm up by 1 degree C, obviously this would lead to a much greater reduction in cold deaths than would increase heat deaths, that is, a net benefit to humanity.

The AI in Mission Impossible didn’t need a Google account to sign in.
Just a self-sovereign keypair.
PS: Unlike the movie, the AI aligned with humanity will also use this.

This was my garage last year.
Since then, I’ve:
- Sold both my cars
- Donated/sold half my clothes
- Moved my office to the basement
- Cut travel by 75%
- Simplified everything
And I’m happier than ever.
Your greatest asset isn’t money. It isn’t even time.
It’s your attention.
I’ve been aggressively simplifying my life—removing distractions that don’t serve my purpose.
- Two cars were unnecessary. Sold them.
- I had way too many clothes while people on the streets wear the same outfit daily. Donated half.
- My desk was upstairs where people came and went all day. Moved to the basement for focus.
- I traveled half the month, but it wrecked my routine. Cut back (not eliminated).
Now, if something doesn’t grow my:
Relationship with God
Relationships with others
Relationship with myself
Health & fitness
Business & finances
…I’m increasingly intolerant of giving it my attention.
Too many kids see the Miami lifestyle and punt their 20s chasing a high-rise, a supercar, and a few Dior fits.
That ain't it.
I became a millionaire at 25.
Bought my first supercar at 26.
Lived in a 3,000 sq. ft. high-rise downtown.
None of it matters if you don’t have:
- A relationship with God
- People who love you
- A purpose to work toward
- Clean food, fresh air, sunlight in the morning
- Peace throughout your day
Cut the items, commitments, goals, beliefs—and even people—that no longer serve who God called you to become.
