Outstanding testimony, @juliecbarrett. I think many adults agree that protecting children is a priority. I know I do. However, that is MY JOB as mom, not the government's job. Putting a child's PII out into the digital world is not protection. It is dangerous and puts children at risk for exploitation with financial/credit implications, the potential for more sexual exploitation, identity theft, and even implications for future employment. Children have a right to privacy. Adults advocating for mass data collection on children aren't protecting them. They are exploiting them using emotional manipulation against parents to make it happen.
