Pro Tip: @Taskrabbit is a scam. The guy did a useless job that needs to be fully redone. He charged me another $400 off the books for the job which I shouldn’t have done. The company will not refund any money. Offered %25 credit only applicable to another TaskRabbit.

@Taskrabbit @GameOfThrones really? I spent more than an hour trying to get some type of change for this– far more than the return, I did it out of principle. You have no easy way of adjusting the time-- or protesting against that billed by the "rabbit". very clunky system you have.

@Taskrabbit nightmare! Do not waste your time. I was routed to their new Dolly option and I experience so much unprofessionalism. apathy, very poor technology. The app wasn’t working. The support wasn’t working. After hours they still charged me 80% of the cancellation fee!

. @TaskRabbit eventually did the right thing and refunded me about $19 after my Tasker arrived 23 minutes late. The Tasker did good work, and this is not about him. The problem is the process. An hourly job should require both parties to confirm the actual start and end times before the invoice is finalized. Instead, I had to hunt through support, explain the same issue repeatedly, upload documentation, wait for a live agent, and spend 20 to 30 minutes recovering about $19. On @Upwork and other hourly platforms, confirming time is straightforward. Here, it became a customer service case. Good customer service fixes problems. Great product design prevents them from happening in the first place. TaskRabbit should make confirming billable hours a one-click step before payment is completed.
