Before you vote, I want you to hear directly from me. Armin Mizani is running the Democrat playbook: play the victim, blame others for his failings, and call documented facts "lies." 1) Is Fred lying about Armin Mizani? No. Armin Mizani’s liberal record is sourced, documented and all true. He say it’s a “lie” because he has no answer for the facts. You don’t have to take my word for it – everything is available at DemocratsForArmin.com and ArminsLibrary.com. 2) Is Fred responsible for water rates? I’ve fought for taxpayers on the Trinity River Authority board – returning over $30 million in savings to local communities. Water rates are set by supply and demand, including the demands given by local elected officials like Armin Mizani. Water rates are not a tax and Trinity River Authority has never assessed a tax. 3) Does Fred fly around on a private jet? The Trinity River Authority has had a propeller plane for 50 years to cover its 26-county region – larger than seven states. It’s not the lavish private jet pictured in Armin’s false attack ads. Furthermore, I protected taxpayers by advocating for the plane's removal from the TRA. 4) Did Fred spend money on a golf course? The Lake Livingston public golf course has been there since 1972, and I have opposed the redevelopment spending from day one. The public record shows I voted no when the costs kept climbing. Armin Mizani’s record is the opposite: raised debt 34% and increased spending 16% in his first year as mayor. #Txlege
