@sammartin @jakethornton I'm pretty sure their services are offline which is a dev's fault, so he has it so instead it says your password is wrong, your fault. Usually the password reset is also broken during their offline fakeness.

@thdxr The real fix is full AI code reviews and going back to building from source. Does a project REALLY need 439 auto deps?

> 12M context window (read it again) > 52x faster than FlashAttention > beats Opus 4.6 on SWE-Bench > 5% the cost of Opus BUT WAIT A MINUTE: > technical blog not technical > access coming soon > paper coming soon > ““Built by researchers from Meta, Google, Oxford, Cambridge, BYU” doesn’t name a single one of them if this is not a scam, or the numbers aren’t dishonest, it’s disgustingly promotional.

Introducing SubQ - a major breakthrough in LLM intelligence. It is the first model built on a fully sub-quadratic sparse-attention architecture (SSA), And the first frontier model with a 12 million token context window which is: - 52x faster than FlashAttention at 1MM tokens - Less than 5% the cost of Opus Transformer-based LLMs waste compute by processing every possible relationship between words (standard attention). Only a small fraction actually matter. @subquadratic finds and focuses only on the ones that do. That's nearly 1,000x less compute and a new way for LLMs to scale.

@elonmusk @teslaownersSV Depends on what your goal is, if you want to bring a lot of metal with you to outer space then expendable makes more sense, you get higher payload per launch, and of course much higher cost. Expendable boats to the new world would of work just more expensive and slower pop growth

@teslaownersSV Any technology invention can be assessed in terms of how it improves fundamental metrics. It is impossible to become a multiplanet civilization without reusable rockets, just as it would have been impossible to colonize America with expendable boats.

Everyone obsesses over Starship's height and thrust. The number that actually matters: cost per kg to orbit. Falcon 9 brought it from ~$54,500 (Shuttle era) to ~$1,500. Starship targets <$100. A 500x reduction in 25 years. That's the curve enabling Mars, lunar bases and orbital industry. Everything else is a consequence of that one number.

That’s the problem with you Americans - you feel exceptional and indispensable . China exports to the US is below 3% of their GDP , perhaps check Chinas biggest trading partners . The US is 350 million people, and there is a big world out there . More and more countries will be turning to China for trade , you don’t need $ , why do you think Brics are encouraging settlement in their own currencies. Sure there will be uncertainties and recession in many countries but China can weather this storm but I am not sure the US can .

In summary, the scientific community does not recognize any necessity or benefit in harvesting adrenochrome from children. The compound can be synthesized, its supposed effects are not substantiated by modern science, and the entire concept of needing to extract it from children lacks any scientific or ethical foundation.

@UnfiltdTruth @iamyesyouareno We only need locks because 15 million third-world opportinistists came in country. At least half of them feel entitled and are “taking” all they can. They’re having a ball experiencing “plenty” and at the same time “no punishment” for bad behavior.
