A big reason the Earth looks so "put together" in terms of it's continents and aesthetic, is because it's been shaped by the tides and tidal flow for thousands of years. That and very importantly, tectonic plates. If Mars had the same, it would feel much more like Earth.

Everyone talking about how ugly Mars and other planets continents look if they had water - clearly have not spent an unhealthy amount of time learning D&D world building. This is what it looks like if you just suddenly spawned 70% water. No erosion, no continental drift, etc.

@aguilabumagsak I do have the data to check average game length etc, but there are some variables (format change, number of maps) that make it not exactly comparable.
