John Terry has appeared to endorse a UK politician’s social media post that advocates for a nationwide ban on the burqa before deleting his comment.
The former England captain is still involved in football and has been in an academy coaching consultancy role with Chelsea since 2021, working in a part-time capacity that involves mentoring academy players.
Rupert Lowe, an independent Member of Parliament (MP) and founder of Restore Britain, a recently registered political party, uploaded a photo to Instagram that stated his intention to outlaw the garment, worn by some Muslim women, if Restore Britain was to ever form a government.
Restore Britain was launched in June as a pressure group and announced in March that it was an officially registered political party. It does not hold any seats in parliament.

@JonnyH3232 1 down 3 to go for us
You’re staring the championship in the face
I genuinely mean this, if you go down I couldn’t give a flying fuck what we win if we win anything at all
Jelly and ice cream when you go 👋
A big Thank you to Nico O’ Reilly for relieving us Spurs fans of some of the pain we have felt today.
So Gooners don’t bother me with your messages today as we already know we are shit but Arsenal are bottlers again Olé Olé
#COYS 🤍💙
@haydencr_08@SpursOfficial Am I? I’ve seen it all before mate I don’t get rattled about millionaires not performing as they should.
I’d be rattled at the prospect of Lincoln away next year though 😁
@Tgarratt10 Arsenal fans - stop giving these no marks life on social media. Talentless gormless divs begging for interactions to feed themselves
Pathetic
@troopzafc Yep 100%
Cannot get success with sentiment. Pick your best team in a final every single time
Not the only thing that cost us we didn’t have any creative spark at all without Eze perhaps people critical of him should think again he’s far more important than people realise
@White_Yardie More the point that we don’t deserve it tbh. Just did not come out second half.
This will spur us on , two weeks rest from it now will do us all good.
Come back focused on the treble, we keep moving forward

Nine months ago we lined these streets, 225,000 of us, celebrating the Europa League win.
Today, we gather here to keep our team up. Wouldn’t change it for the world, well maybe I would. But what a Club! These fans. Wow. TTID. 🤍
@WelBeast There’s no success with sentiment. Sounds obvious to say now but start your best 11 in every single final. Fuck what the opposition are doing
