🇺🇸FCC FAST-TRACKS SOROS' BID TO DOMINATE THE AIRWAVES
Last week, the FCC adopted an order to approve his purchase of more than 200 radio stations in 40 markets just weeks before the presidential election.
The stations reach more than 165 million Americans, and staff at the FCC are concerned that the move is politically motivated.
The commission's three democrats voted for the move, while the two republicans voted against it.
Under existing FCC rules, foreign company ownership of U.S radio stations is not supposed to exceed 25%.
Soros took foreign investment to make his bid and then filed a request for the commission to make an exception to the usual review process.
The decision to fast-track the approval process bypassed a national security review, which could have taken up to a year to complete.

BREAKING: Vice President Kamala Harris racks up another big win as the Teamsters National Black Caucus formally endorses her for president — and heaps praise on her historic candidacy.
Donald Trump's campaign is falling way behind...
"With Harris and Walz in the White House, we have a real chance to secure a future where working people are at the heart of America's progress," the Executive Board of the caucus wrote in its announcement on Facebook.
"Vice President Harris and Governor Walz have consistently demonstrated their unwavering commitment to workers and their families," they went on.
"Their records reflect a deep dedication to advancing labor rights and supporting working- class Americans. As a key partner in leading the most pro-labor administration in our lifetimes, Vice President Harris has proven to be a tough and principled fighter for workers' rights and a leader who delivers
on her promises," they continued.
The Executive Board went on to list some of Harris's many accomplishments:
• "Played a critical role in rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure, creating good-paying union jobs, and bringing manufacturing back to America. She has also been instrumental in lowering prescription drug costs and raising wages, ensuring that working
families thrive."
• "Saved the pensions of over 1 million union members and retirees, including Teamsters, safeguarding their financial security after
years of hard work
• "Led the administration's efforts to increase access to affordable child care and expand the child tax credit, providing crucial support to working families across the nation.
• "Championed worker organizing and chaired the White House Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment, where she advocated for new training programs and pathways to good union

• Stood in solidarity with striking writers, demonstrating her deep commitment to protecting workers' rights to fair treatment and compensation.

Soviet Union’s first McDonald’s fast food restaurant opens in Moscow's Pushkin Square on January 31, 1990. Throngs of people line up to pay the equivalent of several days’ wages for Big Macs, shakes and french fries. The appearance of this notorious symbol of capitalism and the enthusiastic reception it received from the Russian people were signs that times were changing in the Soviet Union. An American journalist on the scene reported the customers seemed most amazed at the “simple sight of polite shop workers…in this nation of commercial boorishness.” A Soviet journalist had a more practical opinion, stating that the restaurant was “the expression of America’s rationalism and pragmatism toward food.” He also noted that the “contrast with our own unrealized pretensions is both sad and challenging.” For the average Russian customer, however, visiting the restaurant was less a political statement than an opportunity to enjoy a small pleasure in a country still reeling from disastrous economic problems and internal political turmoil. The arrival of McDonald’s in Moscow was a small but certain sign that change was on the horizon. In fact, less than two years later, Soviet Union ceased to exist as a nation, Mikhail Gorbachev resigned as leader of the country, and various Soviet republics proclaimed their independence. As the American newsman reported, the first Russian McDonald’s customers “had seen the future, and it works, at least as far as their digestive tract.” 📷 : Russia's first McDonald's on its opening day in 1990.
