@spdegraaf @ControllingLMNT Absolutely wild. Also clearly from the good old days, where you could write methods like "The test animals consisted of rats and mice either of which are satisfactory for the purpose. In our work a larger number of rats were used because they were available." 😂

Only listen to this ep if you want to feel really flabbergasted about the diversity of endocrine control of Reproduction. Just when I was comfortable with mouse/human 🤦‍♂️. Maybe we should rename HPG axis HPGP (hypothalamus, pituitary, gonad, placenta)??
