@Taylor_Cowper Playing Australian Rules football in summer goes against the very reason the sport was created. Genuinely would kill the WAFL. Can't believe anyone would think that is forward thinking.

5. Aligns AFLW with state competitions (VFLW, SANFLW, WAFLW etc) giving non-playing players a chance to build form and match fitness. Currently some players go min. 6 months without playing a proper game. 6. AFLW Grand Final is held during the AFLM pre-finals bye.

@Ryan_DMiller Always need to think through the commercial reality as well. Been lots of talk from advertisers to get WAFL played during summer. Makes sense commercially. Need to be forward thinking.

@Taylor_Cowper It's not perfect. It's the exact opposite. It's competing with cricket, and footy in the summer months is terrible for fans and players. No one wants footy in summer. It's putrid.

@Ryan_DMiller I have been thing through this It’s perfect for content & sponsorship position as well. It will be hard for the girls to compete with the money that’s out there for men’s teams if they are at the same time. Different times of year mean sponsors have a yearly solution

@Ryan_DMiller Perfect AFL calendar and also a great from a content POV. AFL March to September. Trade period October. AFLW November to February. Full year.

Other thoughts - increase AFLW on-field team sizes to traditional 18 and increase ball size from 4 to 4.5.

So get an email front the CEO of @CommBank talking to all the great things they have done. But talking to the refinance team they can match another offer or give any cash back. Loyalty means nothing. Have always had my mortgage with CommBank but these things make you think.
