Developing: There are lots of rumours that calls are growing for a spill in the Liberal Party room to remove Sussan Ley as the opposition leader. The Nationals have effectively split from the coalition based on statements made by the party leader David Littleproud, leading to growing discontent against Sussan Ley. One of the primary contenders being floated is former SAS soldier Andrew Hastie, who has faced public backlash for backing a watered-down version of Labor's hate speech laws. Should Sussan Ley go, and would you support Andrew Hastie?

@sussanley I was ready to come back to the Liberal Party after for the first time not voting for them in the last election…Hastie gave me hope. Now I will NEVER vote Liberal again.

Today the Liberal Party vetoed Labor’s attempt to criminalise free speech and brought in greater powers to deport Islamist extremists. We succeeded in narrowing the scope of Labor’s broken bill to deal with what it should’ve done from the start – tackling antisemitism and radical Islamist extremism. The Liberal Party will always act to keep Australians safe, defend freedoms and put the national interest first.
